Mama’s Tired | Time Management, Overwhelm, Organization, Peace, Patience
Do you wish you had enough time in your day to get everything done? Are you tired of feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and impatient with your kids? Do you wonder what it would be like to say “no” and prioritize your needs for a change? I am so excited you’re here! This podcast is for the mamas who are doing all the things and running on empty. If you are looking to regain your peace, become a more patient mom, and finally have the time to be fully present with your family instead of worrying about everything that needs to be done, then this show is for you. Hey, I’m Rachel. A wife, child of God, and fellow mama in the trenches. For years, my days felt chaotic, my time felt hijacked, and peace felt like a fantasy. I was living in survival mode, placing my hope in planners and to-do lists. I finally realized that if I was going to have a peaceful home and stop letting the enemy steal my joy and my time, I needed to implement systems to get me there. I created a routine that fits ME and my family. A simple strategy that we could actually stick with. A lifestyle that made managing our time not just doable, but sustainable . And I’m ready to share it with you! Each week, we will talk routines, time hacks, mindset shifts, and real-life ways to bring calm back into your home and heart. Because burnout isn’t the plan. Let’s reset and find the peace you’ve been craving together. Heat up your morning coffee and throw that laundry back in the dryer, my friend. It’s time to jump in.

I am a creature of habit. I wake up at the same time each day, follow the same morning routine, eat the same thing for breakfast, etc. I love routine. I thrive on it. It brings me comfort. And boy, don’t we love to be comfortable?! Routines are created and habits are learned. We continually seek comfort in material things: shopping, alcohol, drugs, social media, FOOD. Yet, these things will never bring us true joy. True joy is found in Christ alone. In this episode, I invite you to spend some time with the Lord, reflecting on YOUR source of comfort and joy. Are you spending your time seeking false comfort or are you investing in things that bring about true joy? We often hear women complain about having to cook, not having the time to cook, how long it takes to cook, and on and on…and that stops them from losing weight. Take a listen to our perspectives on the subject and how to move through this if you find yourself thinking the same thing. “Can you just write me a meal plan?” I cannot tell you the amount of times I’ve been asked this question, and I get it. Logically, it makes sense. If you have someone telling you exactly what to eat, it should take out the guesswork and you’ll just eat what’s on plan. But that’s not how it works. For the majority of people, meal plans do not work. Meal plans are a tool, just like a number of things that CAN be used to lose weight or achieve a desired health or fitness goal. But if your goal is to figure out how to eat right for your health or you have a certain body composition goal (meaning you want to lose fat, gain muscle, etc), then depending on a meal plan is not a good idea. I’ll explain in this episode… Check out the show notes for more information including links and resources mentioned in today's episode!
