A big problem so many people struggle with is knowing how to deal with uncomfortable emotions in a healthy way. Oftentimes, emotions are dealt with by overeating, emotional eating, turning to drugs or alcohol, distraction, avoidance, etc. In this episode, I sit down to chat with Dana Vanwoerden Skoglund about true emotional self-care and how to deal with uncomfortable emotions. 

 

Known as the teacher’s teacher and community leader, Dana Skoglund has been teaching yoga since 2005. However, she realized that in order to help people feel better outside of the

yoga class, she needed to help them transform their daily habits and mindset.

 

Dana’s passion is contagious. She embodies a warm, light-hearted, and genuine approach in sharing lessons learned as she guides you into living a more intentional, aligned, and self-honoring life.

 

In this episode, we chat all about emotional self-care, ways to effectively change destructive habits, ways to cope and heal from past experiences, and how making yourself a priority helps not only you but those around you as well - proving once again that self-care isn’t selfish at all.
